The care manager provides impartial professional guidance to implement the needs of the client. We collaborate with the client, the family and other health care providers to develop and implement the best possible plan. The families of individuals who have had a change in physical or mental status are faced with many challenges. The options can be especially difficult if the family members are working full time, have personal obligations, or live at a distance. Who We Are
Batsheva N. Schreiber, RN, BSN
Ms. Schreiber is a registered nurse with many years of clinical and administrative healthcare experience. She has had “hands-on” nursing experience as the head nurse of a medical/surgical unit at a large teaching hospital, was a team leader at a community mental health center, and developed and managed the medical department of a child welfare agency. Ms. Schreiber co-founded and administered a certified home health care agency that received exemplary clinical and administrative reviews from federal and state auditors. Prior to founding CareManagers Inc., Ms. Schreiber was Director of Operations of a New Jersey managed care organization. She is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Society on Aging, the National Academy of Certified Care Managers, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Guardians of the Sick of Raritan Valley, and many other communal organizations. She is frequently asked to present at community health events and is a member of the Executive Board of the United Way of Central Jersey and is proud to be an instructor for Companion Connection Senior Care.
James D. Lomax, MD
Dr. Lomax is a graduate of Indiana University Medical Center and completed a family practice residency program in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1977, he became assistant program director to the Brookdale Hospital Family Practice residency program in Brooklyn, New York. He later joined the teaching faculty of the Department of Family. Dr. Lomax recently completed publication of “Case Management Guide for Workers’ Compensation Adjusters and Nurse Managers”. He is a frequent speaker and medical consultant to insurance companies.
Nikki Schreiber, CMA
Director of Operations
Ms. Schreiber successfully assumes responsibilities for all aspects of CareManagers operation, including, but not limited to, IT functions, Human Resources, Recruitment, Web design and all internal operational needs. She has combined her rich business experiences with her vast and growing knowledge of the health care field to be a major contributor to CareManagers Inc.
